When I began reviewing my photos to put together this website, I was genuinely surprised just how many shots I’d taken of trees? Not because trees aren’t wonderful, architectural things of beauty – just that if you asked me what I was interested in, I’d say flowers, birds, insects…
Which just about sums up the tree. Often taken for granted, always in the background yet providing a year round exhibition – from their exquisite naked winter lines, to the fresh lime green growth and uplifting blossom of spring, the voluptuous canopy of summer and vibrant last hurrah of autumn.
